  1. That “lemang” is delicious.No Gawai is complete without the must “lemang” (I can’t find an English word equivalent to it.Glutinous rice cooked in a bamboo seems crudely described it though.)

    The best lemang is sold (everyday!) at two places adjacent to Kpg Opar in Bau.Never failed to buy one or two “bamboos” after a trip to Serikin’s Sunday markets.

    The young generation should support the local delicacies such as “lemang”.
